“Arthur?” Merlin worriedly squeaked.
“I’m right here sweet heart, all you need to do is walk up to me, hear my voice…trust me love…” Arthur called gently as he stood a few paces away from Merlin.
“I can’t..” Merlin gasped.
“You can, lovely…just try, I won’t leave.” Arthur said with care holding his arms up.
“Try…just try for me, it’ll make me so happy…”
Merlin blinked and took a deep breath and stood straight, his hands turned into fists on either side of him and took a step forwards, then another and another.
“Arthur!” Merlin yelped as he felt himself near a wall.
“Turn a bit to the right…a little bi-there…” Arthur smiled.
“Am…Am i close?” Merlin gulped.
“Nearly…just a few more steps darling…i know you can do it…” Arthur smiled.
Merlin pressed his hand against the wall of a lonely corridor.
“I’m blind Arthur….this won’t work…” Merlin said dully, bending his head.
“Merlin…it’s just a curse, in a few days you’re sight will return…”
“I’m even more useless..!!!” Merlin cried.
“Shhhh shhh love, beautiful it's alright…just take one more step…one more, i’m so proud of you.” Arthur smiled.
Merlin sighed and stood up straight and took two steps forwards, expecting to fall down but instead two arms wrapped around him, bringing him close.
“I made it…” Merlin smiled, smiling.
“I knew you could do it love.” Arthur hushed and kissed his face repeatedly.
Merlin giggled and slowly lifted his hands and placed them against Arthur’s nose, making the man giggle, Merlin giggled and moved them around and held Arthur’s face and leaned in, kissing his eyes.
“Close enough love.” Arthur smiled and kissed him tenderly.
