Move in with me?

“Arthur?” Merlin frowned as the man tied a red ribbon against his eyes.

“Shhh just go along with it baby...” Arthur whispered and kissed his head.

“What are we doing?” Merlin asked as Arthur walked him out of his parents house.

“You’ll see beautiful...” Arthur smiled as he carefully sat Merlin in the car and put on his seat belt, Merlin grinned as Arthur closed the door.

The two drove around.

Merlin heard them park and the engine fading.

“Are we there?” He asked.

“Yup...” Arthur smiled and got out of the car and helped Merlin out and slowly the two walked up some stairs.

“Don’t peak Beautiful, it’s a surprise...” Arthur whispered against Merlin’s ear, the man couldn’t stop grinning.

“I love surprises...” Merlin smiled as Arthur walked him into an elevator and pressed three.

“Woah!” Merlin giggled as he felt the ‘ground’ moved a bit.

Ding! The elevator sang and the doors opened as Arthur held Merlin’s shoulders and lead him through a passage and soon stopped.

Merlin heard him get out some keys and opened a door and lead him in, it seemed a bit warmer, carefully he was lead in circles and sat on a cushion.

Arthur sat in front of him on the floor and leaned in, giving him a kiss.

“Where are we?” Merlin giggled.

Arthur smiled and tapped his nose playfully, making Merlin giggle.

“It’s still a surprise sweetheart, don't ruin it yet!” Arthur cheerfully said and opened a basket in between them and got out a wine bottle and poured the contents into a glass and gently held Merlin’s hand and lead his hand to the holder and Arthur gently lifted it and pressed it against his lips, Merlin smiled and drank it.

The two sat there drinking.

Arthur then took out some sandwiches and they ate.

Arthur chuckled as a bit of mayo was on the side of Merlin’s mouth.

“You got a little-” Arthur smiled, scratching his mouth.

“You have to show me with your hands lovely, i can’t see...” Merlin grinned.

“Oh right...” Arthur chuckled and leaned in and kissed the side of his mouth.

Merlin blushed deeply and Arthur pulled back.

“Whats the matter, your face is red...” Arthur smiled as he cradled Merlin’s jaw.

“It’s just different, i can’t see you, then suddenly your lips are on me, its surprising and nice as the same time...” Merlin smiled.

Arthur chuckled and the two talked about their day.

After a while Arthur gently laid Merlin’s head on his lap and stroked his hair.

Merlin hummed and started to drift off.

“Merlin?” Arthur whispered.

“Hm?” Merlin hummed.

“Would.........would you...” Arthur gulped and smiled to himself.

“Arthur sweetheart?” Merlin called.

“Would you....like to...” He took a deep breath.

“Would you love to move in with me Merlin...just you and me in a flat somewhere?” Arhtur asked and bit his lip.

Merlin was quiet.

Arthur carefully lifted Merlin up so they where face to face, both kneeling, Merlin’s mouth was hung open, tears falling down.

Arthur’s hands cradled Merlin’s head and with his thumbs he carefully wiped his tears away.

“Move in...with...with you?” He breathed.

“Yes....” Arthur gulped as Merlin said ‘you’ with emphasis.

Merlin let out a breath and crawled up to him and kissed the side of his chin and giggled and kissed up and up and reached his eye.

“Thats...my dream...” Merlin breathed, lip throbbing, sobbing.

Arthur cried too and gently took off the ribbon and Merlin looked around eyes wide.

The floor was littered with small candles, there where in a small living room, behind Arthur was a comfy cough and on the side was a T.V, the kitchen was behind them and on the side where the rooms.

“Is this...” He gasped and turned to Arthur.

He had tears falling down him, mouth slightly hung open, bottom lip throbbing, eye brows curved,

Arthur smiled widely and nodded. “Yeah...” He croaked with joy.

Merlin grinned and hugged Arthur tightly, kissing him wherever his lips lead him, Arthur did the same, both laughing.

“I love you so much, thank you so much Arthur, i can’t believe it!!” Merlin cried and broke the hug and helped his face, kissing every inch.

Arthur giggled and held him close.

Merlin then pressed his fore head against Arthur’s.

“You and me...are going to live together...” Merlin choked out in joy and amazement.

“I know...i know it’s like a dream isn’t it?” Arthur smiled and kissed Merlin.

“Yeah...” Merlin smiled.

“I love you so much Arthur...so much...” Merlin breathed.

“I love you too Merlin, more than anything...” Arthur smiled and the two hugged one another tightly.

“No matter how much we fight or argue ...here...” Merlin said and parted the hug and looked at Arthur, holding his hands.

“We will stop and remember this day, that it was never a mistake and it was filled with joy...” Merlin said.

Arthur smiled and kissed him.

“I love you...”
