The cursed prince part 14 (Final)

A month goes by and Obe calls for Merlin one day.

“Yes Sir?” Merlin asks as he walks up to the man as Obe sits on the throne.

“You love Arthur…” Obe states.

“I…eh...y-yes..” Merlin says, shy.

“I see….well then…..” Obe says and throws a sword at Merlin’s feet.

“I am needed back home….for good. So I want you to rule with him…” Obe says.

“You….are leaving?” Merlin asks.

“Yes.” Obe says firmly.

Merlin picks up the sword and looks up.

“A parting gift….your king will be dizzy so….make sure you care for him.” Obe clears his throat and stands before Merlin sees his eyes go white and Arthur’s blue eyes appear before groaning and falling forwards, Merlin gasps and drops the sword before running towards him and catches him in his arms.

“Arthur….” He breathes.

“He’s…gone….” Arthur groans out.

“Yes…its’ over now.” Merlin leans down and kisses his king.

Arthur smiled into the kiss and pulled Merlin closer, kissing back.

“Will you become my king, Merlin?” Arthur asks.

“Yes…Yes of course.” Merlin grins and kisses him again.

A huge celebration of Arthur’s freedom and his marriage to Merlin spread through the kingdom, everyone rejoiced.
