Chapter Fifteen:

Three captured idiots.

The warlock woke in darkness.

He frowned and heard chains rattle and found that he couldn’t move or talk. The man felt straw and movement.

‘I always have a plan too, Emrys…’ An all too gleeful Mordred said in his mind.

He squinted as a door opening to reveal a bright flash of light.

He hissed and rolled away from it.

A chuckle was heard near him.

“So, this is the new slaves?” A low and gruff voice happily asked.

“That’s right, I’ve got you a treat too…” he heard Mordred answer.

“Oooo…please do tell…” The man chuckled.

“I’ve got a rare beauty…and I know how you love the men…and he’s a servant…his voice is as sweet as honey I can tell you and he is very stubborn and helplessly loyal…” Mordred stated.

“A screamer?”

“Oh defiantly…”

The gruff man chuckled in delight.

“The other is a king…and I also know how you love to break them in and this one might be the best challenge you will ever get…and…these two are great friends…their servant and master but their bond is larger than that I’ve seen…the king even risked his life for the man…and if you want them to obey your wills then just string up and whip the other…they’ll sing like angels if you do…”
Mordred said, smirking.

“That fucking snake…” Merlin hissed to himself.

“No doubt…” He heard Arthur croak tiredly near him.

“Arthur?”

“Yeah….”

Merlin sighed.

“Guess he found out our weakness…”

“…You know it too?” Merlin asked sadly.

“Of course I do Merlin…” Arthur said softly.

“-And the third is a boisterous beauty…” Mordred laughed.

Merlin and Arthur frowned.

“Third?” They asked in union.

They soon heard a groan near them.

“What the devil happened?” The tired person groaned.

“Gwaine…” Merlin breathed sadly.

“Merlin mate?” Gwaine called.

“Yeah, I’m here…Arthur too…”

“Princess as well…Oh Sire, I’m sorry to say but you’re loosing your touch there…”

“Fuck off Gwaine…” Arthur huffed.

“Boys...” Merlin warned.

Gwaine chuckled. “Yes mom?”

Merlin sighed.

There was a pause.

“Fuck off Gwaine…” Merlin huffed.

They all burst out laughing.

“Always so sharp Merlin….” Gwaine smiled.

“As he’ll ever be…remember, his brain is the size of a peanut…” Arthur murmured, stiffing a giggle.

“ALRIGHT…YOU LOT UP NOW!” A gruff voice cried out, making them jump.

Chapter Sixteen:

Three stubborn slaves.

They where soon lined up.

A tall looking man walked up to them.

“You three will now be my slaves…you’ll be broken, trained then sold…got it?”

None of them moved or spoke.

“Mordred…you can take the spell off of them now…” The leader ordered the young man who watched Merlin with a victorious smile.

The young man looked up. “I did Sir…they’re stubborn, I told you…” Mordred said and left.

“Alright…” The leader said slowly.

“My name is Fred…I’m the leader…and I’ll personally break you and train you…” He said, smiling gleefully.

Merlin yawned, still feeling tired from the travel there.

The leader noticed. “Oh…I’m sorry…” Fred said and walked up to Merlin, face to face.

“I didn’t realize that my speech was boring you…want me to make it more exciting?” He asked and Merlin earned a swift punch to the chest making Merlin cry out, his back bent, coughing.

Sir Gwaine saw this and growled angrily at the man, giving him a nasty glare as he spoke to Merlin.

“There…was it exciting enough?” Fred smirked at Merlin, looking down at him, the leaders hand on his shoulder.

Merlin let out a pained groan, slowly standing up, looking at the man.

Fred smiled, patting his cheek hard and went back to his throne.

“Take them away…” He ordered his guards.

“N-No Wait!” Merlin cried out when he heard a sudden yelp, the warlock looked back to see Gwaine on the floor with a nasty bruise blossoming on his cheek, above him stood a guards that was clutching his hand.

“Behave yourself pretty one…or your friends will be the ones to suffer your disobedience…” Fred smirked from his throne.

Merlin took a deep breath. “How dare you attack my friends just because I didn’t-JJYAHH!!” Merlin screamed as he felt a guard snap his arm.

His screamed echoed around the forest, making the leader smile, happy with his work.

“Take them away…” Fred said with a wave of his hand the guards took them to the cells and Arthur did not once look away from his servant.

“How’s you’re arm?” Arthur asked in all seriousness as they sat in a dingy cell.

Merlin held it close against his chest, looking down.

“It’s not that bad…” He sniffed and wiped his sleeve against his nose, shaking.

“You’re face is green…you should lie down…” Arthur said with a soft-spoken tone and carefully lay Merlin down.

“I’m dizzy…” Merlin mentioned.

“The ride here was a bit rough…I feel it too there’s no reason to worry about that…” The king stated and gently placed his hand against Merlin’s shoulder.

“Get some rest…I’ll take care of everything don’t worry Merlin…”

Merlin nodded and fell asleep soon after, his breath slow and calm.

‘That bugger…” Gwaine grunted in discomfort as he slowly sat up, his hand covering his swollen cheek.

He looked down at Merlin. “Is he alright?” The knight asked with a concerned tone, his hand gently holding Merlin’s good one.

‘His other arm is broken…” His king replied gravely.

He heard Gwaine let out a breath, shaking his head. “That’s not good…” He said slowly.

“The guards wont like it if he complained too much of that injury…” Arthur commented.

Gwaine bit his lip, feeling responsible.

Both men knew that Merlin had grown on them, it was almost impossible to not let his charm get to you. They knew what they needed to do.

“Arthur…you know what needs to happen now right?” Sir Gwaine asked, looking up at Arthur.

The king nodded and looked down at a sleeping Merlin. “We can’t tell him though…”

“Understood princess…” Gwaine said and gave Arthur a firm nod, placing his red cape over Merlin’s shivering body before going to sleep himself, right next to merlin, sharing his body-heat with him as Arthur did the same on the other side of Merlin till the man slept calmly.

“Arthur…”

“Arthur, Wake up….”

“-They’re here…it’s time…”

“...PRINCESS!!!”

“WHAT?” Arthur gasped, sitting up.

He saw Gwaine sitting near him.

“The guards are coming…” He whispered.

Arthur slowly nodded, eyeing Merlin for a moment who was still asleep and stood up.
Soon two guards opened the cell door and looked at Gwaine and Arthur.

“You’re only taking us…” Gwaine hissed to a guard that looked at Merlin.

“Very well…” The guard shrugged and dragged them out to a torture room.

They saw various torture weaponry hang from the walls, dried blood still splattered against the walls and floor, it smelled of death and sweat.

“Morning boys…” Fred greeted behind them, standing tall, head slightly bent, looking at the two, his hands behind his back, one hand clasped on his right arm, slowly walking up to them.

“I seem to be missing one more…am I right gentlemen?”

“You’re not going to do anything to him…he’s hurt…and he’s a good man, you have a king and a knight to play with, leave Merlin be…” Gwaine said strongly, glaring at the leader with a hard expression, not letting his belief go that easily, shocking Fred.

The man pursed his lips together, thinking for a moment, developing a little plan in his dead. “Very well…” He answered calmly.

The two let out a silent breath of relief, relaxing only slightly, still on-guard.

They felt a pair of hands grab their arms from behind, forcefully dragging them to a wall with rusted chains hanging.

The two guards chained them to the wall, making sure to do it as painfully as they could.

Arthur grunted slightly, feeling his arms almost stretch as the rest of his body hung in the air.

“Now…” Fred stated with a slight grin, looking up at them with a whip in hand, looking casual about it as if he’s done this all his life, which he has.

“You’re names will be as followed…” He said and pointed his free hand at Gwaine, eyeing the man.

“778…” He named the knight and looked at Arthur, pointing at him.

“You will be seven, seven nine…”

He then was quiet, waiting for a reaction.

They where quiet, staring right at him shamelessly, their expressions plain but hard.

Fred smiled to himself, clicking his neck to the right, making it click.

“I think it’s time for a bit of persuading…don’t you agree boys?” He smirked and whipped the floor hard and fast, making a loud and harsh crack that made Gwaine flinch slightly.

Fred noticed this, the end of his lip switching in delight.

“You there…” He said, looking at Sir Gwaine with desire.

Gwaine looked back at him but dared not speak.

Chapter Seventeen:

Let the games to begin.

Fred smirked, not breaking his eye-contact with Gwaine as he whipped the floor again making the crack even louder.

Gwaine flinched, his eyes growing wide with fear for a moment before calming.

Fred smirked and did it again.

Gwaine flinched harder, shaking slightly as the sound of the whip was even louder.

Arthur noticed this and looked at Gwaine, looking at him sadly.

‘Hang in there Gwaine, you’re a knight, you’ve trained to endure this…’ He thought to himself.

Fred smirked wider and whipped again and again, harder and louder till Gwaine was shaking, flinching from the sound, yelping.

“STOP!” He cried and froze slightly.

The leader smiled at his small bit of victory.

“Now…what’s you’re name?” He asked, voice dripping with delight.

Gwaine didn’t answer.

Fred whipped the floor again.

The knight bit his lip hard, knowing what the leader was planning.

‘That little shit…’ He thought to himself.

“What’s your name, slave?” Fred asked as he walked up to the man.

Gwaine was now hyperventilating.

“Stop…Stop this, leave him be…” Arthur said with a low tone.

Fred stopped and slowly looked at Arthur, smiling.

“I’m sorry….what was that?” He asked, hand to his ear.

“Leave him be…” Arthur said sternly, making Gwaine look at him fearfully.

Arthur watched as the leader smirked.

Suddenly Arthur heard a blood grueling scream that sounded like Merlin, making him gasp, his stern expression melting away, leaving behind a shocked look.

“I said leave him be-“

“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!”

Arthur gasped and looked down.

“Merlin…” He whispered to himself, terrified.

Fred chucked, watching as his plan was working perfectly.

He then whipped the floor, making Gwaine yelp and Arthur heard Merlin scream even louder in the distance.

“STOP!!!” Arthur screamed.

All was quiet.

Arthur looked at Fred, glaring at him.

‘You clever little snake…’ Arthur thought.

“Let’s see…what is your name, Slave?” Fred asked, smiling at him knowingly.

“My name…is Seven, Seven Nine….”

Chapter Eighteen:

A pitiful cry in the dead of night.

Gwaine looked at the floor of his cell, his eyes where wide with shock.

“Gwaine…” Called Arthur who watched him from his spot.

”I’m…sorry….” Gwaine said, voice weak.

“Don’t be ashamed…I was trained with this my whole life…and you only trained for it for a few weeks…” Arthur reassured the knight.

“I didn’t mean to I just-“

“Everyone has their fears Sir Gwaine…you just need to know how to control them…” Arthur stated.

Gwaine wrapped his arms around his legs, bringing them close, looking like a lost child.

“…You sound like Merlin.”

Arthur froze for a moment.

Gwaine looked up at him slowly.

“Where is he?” He asked. “Where’s Merlin?” He croaked, feeling lost without his best friend.

“We will find him Gwaine, I promise you that…” Arthur said strongly.

“What…What did they do to make him scream that much?” Gwaine yelled angrily, his fear gone.

“I don’t know…” Arthur replied honestly.

“If I find them person responsible for doing that to Merlin he WON’T live to see tomorrow!” He exclaimed.

They where quiet for a long time after that, thinking if Merlin was alright, that he wasn’t in too much pain and that he would see him again, alive.

The two looked up when there was a noise, a shuffling as if someone was dragging something heavy.

‘It can’t be…’ Arthur thought to himself, feeling his heart skip a beet.

They saw the cell door open to reveal Merlin, unconscious, his shoes gone, his feet bloody and raw.

Gwaine felt a serge of anger run through him.

“HOW DARE YOU!” He screamed like a mad man, running up to a guard who punched him in the gut, sending him to the ground, curled up, coughing.

Arthur heard a flop and looked down to see Merlin sprawled out on the floor, he looked out the cell to see two trails of blood.

He slowly shifted to Merlin and kneeled by him, his hands slowly grasping onto his waist and lifting him up, he laid Merlin’s back against him, shifting his head so Merlin’s head nested against his arm.

His face was pale and dirty; his servants’ chest was barely rising.

“Oh Merlin…” Arthur whispered sadly, he used his hand from the arm that cradled his hand to gentle massage Merlin’s hair.

He heard a light moan pass the servant’s lips after a while his body relaxed against Arthur completely.

He was exhausted.

Arthur slowly edged his way so he pressed his back against the wall and slowly fell asleep.

He woke at the dead of night to whimpering.

Arthur opened his eyes and slowly looked down, eyes tired from sleep.

He heard weeping and recognized it was Merlin.

He suddenly gasped, eyes wide with horror as he saw maggots on Merlin’s feet and around the floor near him, wriggling around.

“Fuck…” Arthur breathed and looked up to see Gwaine asleep near him.

“GWAINE!” He cried out, making the knight jolt up awake.

“Wh-what?” He mumbled.

Arthur motioned to Merlin’s feet.

With a blink of an eye Gwaine was by his side, ripping the ends of his pants and quickly wiped off the maggots and gently wiped away the blood off of Merlin’s whipped feet.

Carefully he collected droplets of rain in a bowl they ate from and washed his feet clean and wrapped his feet up in his newly ripped pants.

Merlin slowly woke, his eyes hooded.

“Merlin?” Arthur whispered.

“Ar….thur?” Merlin croaked in question.

“Yeah, it’s me…” Arthur hushed.

Merlin closed his eyes humming slightly.

“Merlin…what happened to you?” Gwaine asked near him.

“I woke in a room…they had whips and belts…and daggers…they tortured me but they didn’t ask any questions…I passed out when they finished whipping my feet…after that they whipped my chest with their belts and they used the dagger in the beginning to make me stay…or else they’d kill me…” The broken servant explained timidly.

“My gods…” He heard Gwaine breath before the dizziness was too much and he passed out again.

The warlock woke to being torn away from Arthur’s gentle hold.

Chapter Nineteen:

A knight, a king and a warlock’s suffering.

Merlin woke the next morning to him being torn away from Arthur’s grasp.

“No, Don’t.” Merlin wined, too tired to struggle.

He soon found himself in the same room, being tied to the chair.

“Not again…” He moaned.

A guard heard this and walked over to him, cupping the tip of his chin and lifted it up, eyes met.

“We’ll only stop if your friends cooperate…” He said and let go of his chin and walked over to a wall and took off a random weapon on the rack of the wall.

Merlin braced himself for the worst.

“Your name…” Fred said slowly in a deep tone.

“…Like I told you yesterday…” Panted an exhausted Arthur.

“Sire…let me…please…” Whispered Gwaine, barely able to keep his head up any longer.

The two where tortured to their limit, Arthur ensured he’s take most of the hits but Gwaine started begging to take at least some of it.

“It’s alright Gwaine…” Arthur smiled slightly. “Let me do this, you just rest up.” He wheezed and soon passed out.

This kept going for the next 5 months before the two swallowed their pride and gave in.

Their training lasted nearly a year.

“Arthur…” Merlin croaked one evening.

“Yes Merlin?” Arthur asked gently, facing him.

“It hurts…” The warlock made out slowly, pointing at a metal collar around his neck that was placed there seven months ago.

“I know Merlin…just try and endure it…I promise we’ll get out of this…” Arthur said and placed his hand on Merlin’s arm, rubbing gently, soothing him.

Merlin slowly looked up at him.

Arthur could see Merlin was fading, his eyes where dull and lifeless, his body ached all over from being tortured and trained, his back and feet where littered with whip marks and scars, many got infected. His lips where badly chapped from the raw sun beating down at him, his back stung from being burnt by the heat of the sun, his left eye was about to go blind, Merlin’s suffering was too great to fathom, even Fred felt sympathy for the young wizard.

That night Gwaine and Arthur sat side by side.

“We can’t let him keep suffering like this…”

“What do you suggest we do?” Arthur asked angrily.

“I don’t know…” Gwaine stated gravely.

“I’m not killing him…” Arthur said through grit teeth.

“Neither will I…” The knight replied honestly.

Arthur sighed, laying his worn hands against his dusty face.

“I can’t believe this is happening…”

“I know….” Gwaine croaked and looked at Merlin and grabbed onto Arthur’s arm tightly.

Arthur looked back to see Gwaine crying.

“Gwaine…” Arthur said, shocked.

“I can’t loose him Arthur, I.can’t.loose.Merlin…” He croaked, his voice wavy.

“Don’t worry…we won’t loose him Gwaine…” He said and wrapped an arm around the knight’s shoulder, looking at him hard. “We won’t.”

Merlin moaned.

Arthur carefully went over to Merlin and gathered him in his strong arms.

Merlin’s head slowly lolled to the side, resting against Arthur’s shoulder.

The king felt as if his heart melted into nothingness, having Merlin like this against him broke his heart.

“Merlin…” Arthur gently called.

He watched as Merlin’s face twisted in pain before opening his eyes, squinting up at Arthur.

“H-Hey.” Merlin said with a tired, grateful smile.

Gwaine stood up and went over to Merlin.

“Hey Merlin…how you feeling there buddy?”

“Tired…sore…like death…” Merlin commented with a hint of humor that made the two chuckle.

“It’s good to see you alive and kicking Merlin.” Gwaine grinning.

“He really is the glue of your little group isn’t he?” A voice spoke up.

Gwaine and Arthur looked at the cell door to see Fred standing there, watching them.

“Why are you here?” Gwaine hissed, moving closer to Merlin protectively.

“To see Merlin of course…” Fred smiled and strolled in.

“Don’t go near him!” Gwaine shouted.

Fred stopped and took a deep breath.

“If you give him to me I’ll make sure that he’ll live a good life.”

Gwaine shot up. “You tortured us, you tortured HIM!” He screamed, pointing to the warlock. “-And you want to help him?”

“It seems I’ve grown soft of the little angel…”

“YOU WILL NOT TOUCH MERLIN!” The knight roared.

Fred chuckled. “Whoa there…” He said, holding up his hands.

“Gwaine’s right…why are you really doing this?” Arthur asked.

“I told you, I’ve grown attacked to him…I like him…” The leader blushed slightly.

Arthur scowled at him.

“I know what you must think…but know that I do care for him…”

“You harmed him, I will not let Merlin go into the arms of a man that would harm him.” Gwaine snarled.

“Oh Gwaine…” Fred pitifully said and kneeled in front of him.

“Do you want me to bring the whip out again?” He asked. “Because I will…”

Gwaine fell completely silent.

Fred broke into a victorious grin. “Good boy…”

The leader made his way to Merlin, kneeling.

Arthur held him close.

“Unless you want to hear his...beautiful screams again, I suggest you give him to me now…” The man said in a threatening tone.

Arthur paused and looked down to see Merlin peacefully asleep, he’d hate for the warlock to wake in severe pain.

“Fine…” He gritted out and slowly moved Merlin over to Fred who wrapped his arms firmly around the man.

“-But if you harm him or make him cry again, I’ll kill you…” Arthur warned and Fred carried Merlin off, leaving behind two guilt-ridden friends.
Chapter Twenty:

A life or riches or a life of slavery that is the question.

Merlin woke and found himself in a luxurious bed made of silk and finely made cotton.

“Where…am I?” He whispered to himself and looked down to see his feet, chest and arms draped in clean bandages, not cloths.

“Hello…” A flirtatious voice cooed.

Merlin looked up to see Fred standing at the end of the bed, eyeing down at him with a child-like grin, as if he was the kid who won the largest sword there was and always will be his.

“What’s going o-on?” Merlin breathed, scared.

“You belong to me now pretty one…” Fred purred and went over to Merlin who moved away.

“Now, now…” Fred whispered and stroked his cheek softly. “There’s no reason to hate me anymore…” The leader purred and carefully placed a gentle kiss against Merlin’s cheek.

“Why are you doing this?” Merlin trembled.

“I like you Merlin…the first time I saw you…there was something about you that made me want to…just take care of you…”

“Then why did you harm me?” Merlin quivered.

“I needed your friends to behave themselves…trust me…if you saw me smiling when I heard your screams your wrong…I hated them but…I have a reputation you see…and I’m far too deep in it to change…but I promise you this Merlin.” Fred said and gently held Merlin’s hands.

“I promise I will never harm you again.” He swore.

“-But…what about my friends?” Merlin squeaked slightly.

“You’ll have to choose…”

“I want to see them…” Merlin piped up.

“You can’t…if you want to see them then you’ll have to go back.” The man gravely said.

“You’ll have to decide what life you want…I’m afraid to say.” Fred gulped and bent his head.

“Why can’t I see them, why can’t I be free…if you love me, you’d change and you’d let me see them or set them free…set me free!” Merlin cried out.

“I want that…more than anything…I don’t want to be like this…but I have to…” Fred sighed. “My father us to be like this and I vowed to be like him or else I’d be killed as well as everyone here…including you my beautiful…” The leader softly spoke, stroking the side of his hair.

“Where is he?”

“In the tallest tower…he’s ill but nothing will stop him to make things right…please listen to me…I’m so sorry to have dragged you into this mess but it was the only way to save you Merlin.” Fred croaked.

As the months went on Merlin got to know Fred more and more and saw a different more gentle side of him and how much he meant to the leader, at the afternoon Merlin would watch from afar as his tired friends’ worked in the sun, feeling guilty for not being able to see them, Fred promised to keep Gwaine and Arthur in good condition which he did, the two grew stronger and healthier as the days went on, it wasn’t a perfect life for either of them but they where just happy to be alive.

“Fred…” Merlin asked one evening.

“Yes love?” The man smiled, looking up from his plate.

Merlin opened his mouth to speak but stopped and pressed his finger’s against his collar.

The leader sighed. “I wish I could take it off…I honestly do…but father will kill you…and me and your friends if he saw it off of you…” Merlin’s lover stated and moved his chair so he faced Merlin and carefully held him close, rubbing his back.

“I can understand how much that thing makes you suffer…I dream every night for that to be taken off of your beautiful neck and for you to feel better…I really do want that but I can’t…”

Merlin nodded against him, feeling calm.

“I understand…” He said and carefully moved out of his gentle hold and finished eating.

Merlin woke in the middle of the night to Fred sleeping beside him.

He slowly rolled, facing the man and placed a soft kiss against his temple and climbed out of bed.

He quietly dressed and made his way down to the cells to see Arthur and Gwaine sleeping in theirs.

Fred’s promise was a promise as he saw them lying on makeshift beds and wore clean clothes, he looked down to see two empty bowls and cups.

“Gwaine…” He whispered, careful not to wake a snoring guard near him.

He saw the man sit up.

“Merlin…” He breathed and walked over, gripping the bars, as did Merlin.

“It’s good to see you.” Sir Gwaine grinned, hurriedly patting his cheek before holding onto the bars’ once more.

“How are you, is Arthur well?”

“Where fine…we miss you a lot though but we see you look at us and that’s fulfilling enough…but you should be careful, he told us you shouldn’t be here…” The knight mumbled quietly.

“I wanted to see you two…” Merlin replied.

“Is he treating you well?”

“You got the letters I sent you right?” Merlin asked, thinking Fred lied to him.

“Of course I did…I just wanted to hear it from you…” Gwaine said.

Merlin let out a breath. “He’s fine…more than fine, he’s wonderful…”

Gwaine dipped his head in relief. “I’m glad.” He whispered to himself.

Merlin saw the guard wake up.

“I have to go…” Merlin said and suddenly found himself on the floor, held down by another guard.

“We’ll, we’ll, we’ll…if it isn’t lover boy…” The man smirked.

Gwaine glared at the knight and fitted his hand through the bars’ and punched the guard hard in the chest, making him fall down.

“MERLIN RUN!” Gwaine yelled and Merlin ran.

He quickly got into the room and shut the door before undressing and climbed into bed, calming his breath before sleeping, acting as if nothing happened.

In the early hours of the morning the two woke to a knock on the door.

Fred yawned and got up, placing a kiss on Merlin’s lips. “Now who could that be?”

“I…I don’t know…” Merlin gulped and watched as the leader opened the door and the room was soon swarmed with guards.

Merlin gasped and shuddered as one man explained what happened to Fred who looked at Merlin, disappointed.

Merlin bit his lip. “Fred…” He breathed, his breath hitched, as a sob was close.

Merlin soon found himself face to face with the ex-king, Fred’s father.

He looked strong, a bit like Uther but just a bit gentler but more stubborn.

Merlin watched as he paced, two hands behind his back before looking at Merlin.

“Fred did nothing wrong to you, why did you disobey his orders?” The father asked.

“I didn’t mean to hurt him in any way, I just wanted to see my friends…this was my fault, please don’t blame Fred.” Merlin begged.

“I’m not…but I’m sure he’s told you what I would do if this would happen.” He snarled.

“I know…I know just please I beg of you not to do it, punish me, not them…” Merlin gulped.

The old man stared at him for a while. “Very well…you’ll revive ten whippings…Fred, you will watch and learn to keep your pet in a stronger leash…am I clear?” He hissed.

“Yes father.” The son said, giving Merlin a cold glare before leaving.

Fred watched as Merlin was whipped, flinching a few times but not feeling bad, he warned Merlin of the consequences and Merlin ignored him.

That night he nursed the warlock’s wounds.

“I told you not to do that Merlin.”

“I know…I was stupid, I’m sorry…I just…I just needed to see them once and that was it.” Merlin told his lover.

“Just get some sleep.” Fred sighed and went to bed, leaving Merlin to do the rest.
